The s9+ robot vacuum is one of the best we've ever tested for cleaning hard floors and carpets. It has the most powerful suction of any robotic vacuum cleaner on the market. It also does a great job at eliminating pet hair. It can also be programmed to make multiple passes or alter the amount of suction based on room size, a feature we haven't seen on other models. The app lets you alter the way it works and also choose the time when it will begin working, so that you can be present in the room as it moves around.

Smart mapping generates a precise home map that can aid the S9+ to navigate efficiently and determine routes. It also self-empties, which means it doesn't require any intervention on your part while cleaning and it can return to its original location and recharge mid-clean (though you may have to hear it return to its dock once it settles in the sound, which sounds like jet engine takeoff). In our testing the s9+ was able to maneuver around obstacles like tables and power cables effortlessly and never lost its charge or got stuck. It doesn't have the hazard avoidance capabilities of the latest models and could be caught in a knot on carpet tassels or other obstructions that it's unable to see.

The s9+ features flat fronts, unlike most circular robots. It also has a squared-off front that makes it easier to reach corners than models with round fronts. It's also quieter than the previous iRobot model we tested and is more compact than the Neato Botvac D7. It's not cheap, but you get a lot of value for your money considering how well it performs and that you don't have worry about emptying your dirty bin afterwards. In addition, it's usually available during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Amazon Prime Day.

This is less than the s9+, however it's nonetheless impressive for a device that can do both vacuuming and mopping.

As with other iRobot cleaners, the j7+ detects obstacles in its path and avoids them. It also features what iRobot calls Cliff Detect technology, which helps to prevent it from taking a tumble down the stairs. It's an excellent security feature for families.

The j7+ has an extremely small onboard bin, so it will need to return to the dock and empty itself often if you have a large home. However the j7+ is incredibly simple to store. 5. Eufy 11s

The Eufy 11s is a small and attractive robot vacuum that offers an excellent value for the money. It can remove pet hair easily and has a huge dirt compartment and can run for a long time on one charge. It's hard to maintain and navigate, which is a major issue. It's not equipped with a companion app and voice control, however it does have an easy-to-use remote. It also doesn't send you a notice when the dust bin is full, so you'll need to check it often.

The eufy has a number of advantages over the Bobsweep Bob Pro however in certain areas it's not as effective as the iRobot Roomba 694. The iRobot Roomba 694 is much better constructed, has less parts to maintain, a HEPA-filter and lasts longer on one charge, and provides better cleaning capabilities for bare floors, low-pile and high-pile.
